The happiest of Thursdays to you! My name is Heather Snow I am beyond thrilled to be joining The Dashing Duchesses, whom I count among my favorite authors and wonderful friends.
Since this is my first post as an official Duchess, I thought I’d share a little about myself, in case we haven’t been properly introduced…
- I’m a sleep-deprived mother of two young boys, known affectionately on social media as The Heir and The Spare.
- I’m an avid reader…or at least I was before deadlines and diaper duty. Now I’m more of an avid listener—God bless audiobooks!
- I’m a cat person who somehow got tricked into adopting a puppy over the summer (rotten husband…and he said it in front of the boys, who turned those adorable baby blues on me. Having baby blues himself, he knew I wouldn’t be able to resist!)
- I write smart, emotional historical romance with heroines who put the blue in bluestocking, the men who love them and the mysteries they have to solve.
I currently have three books on the shelves (which just happen to be on a Kindle sale right now for $5.99!) and am hard at work on my new series.
Here is a little about my stories with links to excerpts for each of the books!
Winner of the 2013 Golden Quill for Best Regency
Double Award of Merit recipient in the Holt Medallion for Best Historical and Best First Book
Beakers and ball gowns don’t mix, so when lady chemist, Miss Liliana Claremont, goes undercover as a husband-hunter to investigate Lord Geoffrey Wentworth, the earl whose family she suspects murdered her father, romance isn’t part of her formula. But it only takes one kiss to start a reaction she can’t control…
“A wonderful, emotional and intellectually satisfying read.”

But when deception, however sweet, is the name of the game, no one can be trusted. And every love–and every life–is at risk.
“What was I waiting for and why didn’t anyone tell me how great Heather Snow was? This is just the type of historical I like to read.”

Well, that is enough out of me! I’ll leave you with the cover of my upcoming novella, Sweet Alibi, which will kick off the Ladies of Seductive Reasoning series featuring Victorian lady scientists who use their skills to solve crimes! Look for Sweet Alibi in late fall 2013, with the first novel in the series to follow in summer 2014!
I would love to get to know YOU a lot better, too! Please introduce yourself and tell me some of your favorite authors and how you like your historical romance… With little mystery added in or no?
Heather Snow is an award winning historical romance author with a degree in Chemistry who discovered she much preferred creating chemistry on the page, rather than in the lab. She lives in the Midwest with her husband, two rambunctious boys, a new shelter pup and one very put upon cat.
